Bob Busteed
I’m honored and blessed to be a part of the Brave Men. Attending the early Friday bible studies with Dr. Bickel, for over ten years now, has been a phenomenal life-changing experience for me. Through Bruce’s wonderful teaching gift, the Scriptures have “come alive” for me and my spiritual journey has taken on a whole new dimension. I can’t thank Bruce enough; and if ever in a crisis, I would turn to my brothers of the Brave Men for support and comfort and advice. I look forward each week to the special time at the Barn.
My career, now in the twilight years, centered around general management and leadership of small to mid-sized manufacturing companies in Ohio, Michigan, Virginia and Pennsylvania, with extensive international exposure. I worked mainly in the rubber, plastics, electronics & mining industries. My last real job was as President & COO of Matthews Int’l here in Pittsburgh before starting my own consulting practice in 1995. The consultation focused on executive search, marketing, quality, strategic planning and equity financing for small to medium companies. Currently serve on several profit and not-for-profit Boards and I do a considerable amount of networking to help individuals with their job search.
My education was in chemistry and business at Nebraska Wesleyan University and Kent State respectively.
I am married to a wonderful lady, Debbie, and we have two married children, Brandon in Boston and Keely in Chicago.
