Jesus met some of his disciples after the resurrection, on the road to Emmaus. “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.” (Luke 24:27) “He said to them, ‘This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.'” (Luke 24: 44)<\/span><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, May 20, 202, Dr. Jeff Stivason started a new series entitled, “How to study the Bible.”<\/mark><\/em><\/strong> This is intended to be a short series. Please join us in person or by listening to the audio and following along with the transcript. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don Maurer suggested a companion book and Dr. Stivason concurred that R.C. Sproul’s book, “Knowing Scripture”<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em> would be helpful as we go through this series. Rev. Jeff Stivason wrapped up this series on Friday, September 9, 2022 with the second Q & A session. He said, “Hey, just so you know. Because you guys had so much interest in eschatology in our last talk together, next week (Friday, September 16, 2022) I think what we\u2019ll do is, we\u2019ll just take a tour through 2 Thessalonians. It\u2019s got the man of lawlessness there and things pertaining to the end times. So I\u2019ll just crassly appeal to your desires.”<\/em> Please join us as Jeff starts a new series on 2nd Thessalonians.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can join us at the Barn on Friday’s at 6:30am as we study God’s word. The Barn, located on the campus of Christ Church at Grove Farm, opens at 6am and our study begins at 6:30. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
