Until recently, Don worked in Washington DC managing an 11-store lumber building material operation. He now works in the Ligonier area as the COO of Speedgoat Bicycles (an internet-centric high-end custom bicycle business). Don has retired several times having worked as a senior executive with True Value and GE. He has been an entrepreneur having owned three businesses in MRO procurement, welding supplies, and office supplies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"LINE-HEIGHT: 14.25pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 9.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'\">Don has experienced a growing relationship with God and he focuses on learning how to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. After having spent over 30 years as a Roman Catholic, a divorce and two significant spinal cord operations, motivated him to strengthen his relationship with God. He has been a member of Northway Christian Community (Wexford), and McLean Bible Church (Washington DC) and is currently looking for a church closer to Ligonier. Don recently has become an active sponsor of \u201cFood for the Hungry\u201d organization and participated in a mission trip to Olivero, Dominican Republic. Don and his family currently sponsor three children in Olivero, D.R. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"LINE-HEIGHT: 14.25pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 9.5pt\">After reading <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wild at Heart <\/span>several years ago, Don and his four sons spend one week every other year on a fishing \/ wilderness adventure where they address their challenges and develop closer relationships. They also discuss their relationship with God. Don receives pure joy in being with his nine grand children.
