Our Bible Study has come to an end. After three decades the Brave Men have closed their weekly Bible studies. What started in September of<\/span> 1995 concluded on October 24, 2025. <\/span><\/i><\/strong>Many of the men are moving over to St. Stephen’s in Sewickley to join their weekly men’s Bible study. This too is on Fridays at 6:30am.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Below is the background on our Bible Study which is in\u00a0our 30th year of fellowship.<\/span><\/strong> Thanks be to God!<\/strong><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

“The Brave Men”<\/i>\u00a0follow Jesus Christ<\/span><\/strong> and meet on Friday mornings to study the\u00a0Bible. Since 1995 God has brought over 900 men across the threshold of the “Barn” into his\u00a0Embassy of Grace. \u00a0On average 30 men show up on any given Friday at 6:30 a.m. at “the Barn”\u00a0\"Aerial<\/a>at Christ Church at Grove Farm<\/a>.\u00a0 We grow from studying the living word of God under the leadership of our men guided by the Holy Spirit, tradition, reason, and the scriptures, and we spend the other six days living out what we’ve learned. \u00a0At God’s “embassy” we are taught about the person and work of Christ. \u00a0Through this we become “ambassadors” for Christ. \u00a0That means we don’t change or add to his message, we reflect his message of reconciliation, love, mercy and grace to those God brings across our paths.<\/p>\n

Christ Church at Grove Farm, and the Barn, are located at 249 Duff Road, Sewickley, PA 15143<\/a>. Duff Road is just off of Mt. Nebo Road, accessible from Rt. 79 or Rt. 279, to Camp Horne Road to Mt. Nebo Road. Doors open around 6am; the teaching starts at 6:30am. Afterwards we talk among ourselves as to how we’re going to apply what we just learned. \u00a0Some men have breakfast together as a means of continuing the fellowship we have started. (Truth be told we’re all a bunch of cowards but with the transforming love of Christ and the grace of God he is forming us into His Brave Men.)<\/em><\/p>\n
